How You Can Help

We are looking for help from people who travel to India and may be able to help us contact the relatives and descendants of the ten Canadian Sikh soldiers. As well as contact information for their families, we are also hoping to discover photographs of some of these Canadian Soldier Sikhs.

Visit “The Soldiers” section of this website to see if you know the families of any of these soldiers, or if you may be travelling to places where their next-of-kin lived.

As we are continuing our research into the men from India who enlisted in Canada’s Army in World War 1, we would greatly appreciate any support, and any new information, photographs, or suggestions relating to this ongoing search.

Our goal is to publish a book on this story in early 2014, as Canada commemorates the start of World War One.
